Telangana Retired College Teachers’ Association, a registered body consisting Govt & Aided College Lecturers,  is formed to meet the needs of college teachers. Membership is open to Degree College Teachers retired from Telangana area. College teacher means Lecturer, Reader, Principal, Joint Director, Librarian / Lecturer or Reader in Library Science and  Physical Director / Lecturer or Reader in Physical Education, Tutor and Demonstrator.

TRCTA has identified the problems and difficulties of the retired pensioners of Degree Colleges due to their inability to visit the Pension office and other offices concerned and decided to provide possible help from TRCTA.

The service-oriented persons retired from Government College Teachers Association, Affiliated College Teachers’ Association and Government College Gazetted Teachers’ Association, College Librarians’ and Physical Directors’ Associations, have formed TRCTA.
